We live in a fast moving world where time is short and the pressures and demands of daily life can be overwhelming leaving us feeling unable to cope, stressed and anxious with 'not enough time in the day'.
Join us to change the buzzword from 'busy' to just 'being'!
One of the core aims of Mindfulness-Based Therapies is to learn how to step out of the mind's 'driven/doing mode' that is so preoccupied with 'multitasking' and 'busyness' creating stress and anxiety, into the 'being mode' of the mind - a less goal orientated state, where we are able to step away from the unhelpful thinking patterns that can hold us back from living a happy, calm and fulfilling life.

"I attended Alex’s Mindfulness workshop in December 2019. It came at a good point in my life, when I was aware that I needed to address my anxiety, and I felt strongly that mindfulness was a good place to start. The workshop was nicely constructed, with a good balance of well-presented, interesting and relevant information and some time for us all to have a go at some mindful meditation as a group (a body scan). Alex is immediately likeable, calm, knowledgable and reassuring and delivered the workshop well. We left with some written tips on how to incorporate mindfulness into everyday life and also some access to some audible meditations. I learnt a lot from this 2 hour workshop, as did my husband (initially a reluctant attendee) and we continue to use the tools and information we gained. Thank you Alex!"
