Habits and Addictions

Habits are behaviours that develop over time. There are lots of habits that can be beneficial like exercising, healthy eating and good sleep hygiene.

However, sometimes bad habits set in and can be hard to break as the more they are repeated the more they become integrated in the psyche.

Make unwanted habits and addictions a thing of the past!

All habits can be broken. Make the decision to take back control today!

I use well-evidenced techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) to help clients break the cycle of bad habits and get back to a normal healthy lifestyle. HRT is a highly effective treatment with an average 90% reduction in the frequency of the habit following a 2 hour session.

Smoking Cessation

Stop In-7 is an evidence-based approach to smoking cessation. Combining elements from CBT, Mindfulness & Hypnotherapy it gives you the best chance to not only quit smoking but more importantly stay a non-smoker.

Please visit the Stop Smoking page here to find out more about quitting tobacco, vapes and weed.

Alcohol Moderation

There is nothing wrong with an occasional glass of wine after work but when a glass turns into a bottle our relationship with alcohol can take a turn for the worse.

I help clients moderate their alcohol consumption working collaboratively to uncover and address the triggers behind their excess drinking.

Using elements from CBT, Mindfulness and Hypnotherapy I help clients spot the negative thought patterns and early warning signs which lead to this unwanted behaviour. Once established I teach coping strategies and use a variety of hypnotherapy techniques to help embed these new positive behaviours and beliefs deep in the psyche.
