Road To Relaxation

‘Road To Relaxation’ is a 2-hour workshop designed to give participants a deeper understanding of what it means to find true relaxation and its associated health benefits.

Based on the work by the American Physician Edmund Jacobson and Professor of Physiology Herbert Benson, the workshop will include a balance of practical work and education around anxiety, stress and relaxation techniques.

Relaxation training has been used as an evidence-based approach to help people cope with symptoms of anxiety and stress for many years. With AnxietyUK reporting that more than 1 in 10 people are likely to have a ‘disabling anxiety disorder’ at some stage in their life and 3 million are currently suffering from an anxiety disorder, there has never been a better time to sit back and relax.
